Fee schedule for parents, students

The city's public schools assess fees to cover items ranging from identification cards to handbooks and resource materials.

Membership in some clubs, extracurricular activities and sports require separate fees.

Fees must be paid before a student is allowed to take exams. Parents or guardians who are unable to pay all or part of the fees due to financial hardship may obtain an application for waived fees in their child's school office.

The fee schedules include:

  • Clinton Park Elementary - $30 instructional fee.

  • Northside Elementary - $30 instructional fee.

  • Eastside Elementary - $30 instructional fee.

  • Lovett Elementary - $30 instructional fee.

  • Clinton Junior High - $30 instructional fee, $14 art fee; band and choir require additional fees.

  • Sumner Hill Junior High - $30 fee to help pay for student/parent handbook, student planner, padlock rental, supplemental instructional supplies, postage, initial identification badge and lanyard, and a duplicate ID badge and lanyard.

    Students at Sumner Hill also pay at $10 biology fee, $15 art fee, $20 choir fee and $10 technology discovery fee.

  • Clinton High - Fees vary according to a child's coursework but include $15 fee for Allied Health I supplemental materials, $25 Allied Health II for lab coat with name tag, purchased prior to clinic observations; $82 for Advanced Placement testing costs for those enrolled in AP coursework; $10 fee for Art I, $12 for Art II, and $15 for Art III and IV;

    $20 fee for Auto Mechanics I and II supplemental materials; $25 band fee; $20 fee for Building Trades I and II supplemental materials; $5 for business/computer supplemental instructional supplies; $30 for senior cap and gown; $10 fee for Child Care I and II supplemental materials;

    $20 choral music fee; $25 fee for Computer Graphics I and II multimedia supplies; $20 for Co-Op Education I and II supplemental materials; $20 fee for Culinary Arts I and II supplemental materials; $15 fee for locker, student ID, Target newspaper, and other special supplemental instructional supplies;

    $10 driver's education fee; $5 English fee; $14 fee for Honors English II and IV; $15 information technology supplementary materials; $5 fee for parking decals; $10 science fee and $20 fee for Technology I and II supplemental materials.
